What kind of tubing should be used in aggressive environments, e.g. exposure to UV radiation?
Our new, highly resistant PLN tubing should be used for applications where tubing is exposed to aggressive media such as acids, lye or cleaning agents. This high pressure, vulcanised polyethylene tubing has been specially designed for the types of aggressive media common to the food processing industry, and is thus extremely resistant. The tubing complies with requirements laid down in the 90/128/EWG directive, and is suitable for direct contact with food products. Only black PLN-xxx-SW tubing should be used if it is exposed to direct sunlight, because only this tubing is highly resistant to UV radiation.
