What kind of transportation is available in Kearney?
As Kearney is a small city, there is no public transportation. There is a public transit system, called the R.Y.D.E., that operates Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. providing transportation within Kearney ($1, one way) and to surrounding areas ($1.5, one way) when you schedule your ride in advance (24 hrs before, call 308.865.5677). R.Y.D.E. Transit also works with Kearney Cab to provide low cost fares when R.Y.D.E. is unavailable (Cab Ticket Program, $2.50 one way). Most of the stores and restaurants are within walking distance from campus.
