What kind of topics of discussion are forbidden or frowned upon?
Well, you already know about the spoilers, so I won’t go into them again. Most topics are welcome, but if a channel operator or a majority of the channel users asks you to change the topic it’s probably a good idea to do so. We’ve also gotten pretty bored of discussion that have to do with the physical attributes of female cast members, or the possibly homo- or heterosexual relationships between cast members. In general sex has been widely discussed and usually no one has anything to say that would be even mildly interesting (“Gee, I wanna pork Troi” is not considered interesting.). There HAVE been some occasions in which we have managed to come up with a conversation about this particular topic that has actually been an intelligent one but as long as it goes along the lines of making comments about the way female characters fill their uniforms, we disapprove.
