What kind of support does the Parent Support Association of Calgary offer to parents?
There is a need for parents to support one another in making changes in their relationships with their teens. PSA is unique in that it offers peer support groups as a concrete means of support. PSA provides practical support for parents who are struggling with their acting-out teens/young adults. Supported by professionals, parents come together weekly to help each other with strategies for changes aimed at improving relationships in the family. Parents gain hope and realize that they are not alone. PSA also provides phone support, information and referrals to parents who are conflict with their teens.
