What kind of subjects are discussed on Quiltart?
QuiltArt’s purpose is to discuss all aspects of ART quilting. While beginner quilters are welcome to join the list and join in the discussion, this is not the forum for basic quilting technique discussion. It is also not the forum for discussion of tradiational quilting, except when traditional quilting techniques apply to art quilting. There are many other lists which offer tips and techniques to beginner and traditional quilters. Although some non-quilt-related chat is acceptable, Quiltart is NOT a chatlist. This is not the forum to discuss your children, (though we’re sure they are great!), your cat or what you are making for dinner and it is not to serve as a daily journal of all of your non-quilting activities. Discussion should pertain to topics which are of interest to the entire list. Personal attacks, flames, religious and political discussions are NOT acceptable.
