What kind of spending money should the students bring?
What kind of clothing should we bring? Moshi generally has a warm sunny climate but it also occasionally suffers from a number of cold, wet days during the rainy season. For most of the year we tend to wear light-weight clothing but students will be glad of a sweatshirt from time to time. Footwear tends to be training shoes or open sandals. A hat is also highly recommended. Additionally remember to bring clothing suitable for the activities you have planned e.g. mountain trekking, safaris. If you are planning to complete community service, suitably safe shoes (i.e. not open sandals or flip-flops) and gloves must be worn. ISM requests that visiting schools follow its own rules of not allowing students or teachers to wear clothing with logos or slogans that might cause offence, which includes reference to drugs or alcohol.
