The sound card is integrated into the circuitry of your WinBook XLi. Your unit has an ESS 1869 audio chip which is Sound Blaster Pro compatible. It has integrated 3D audio effects and is full duplex. The sound is controlled by the use of settings within Windows 95. Please review pages 4.2 through 4.7 in the XLi User’s Manual or the “XLi Help” in the WinBook folder on the Start menu.
