What kind of snacks are best to send for snack time?
Nutritious snacks! Many of today’s children eat way too many sweets! These habits are developed while they are young. So… send grapes, bananas,oranges (already cut up in zip loc bags), puddings, 1/2 or whole peanut butter & jelly sandwich, cheese crackers, etc. You may also send one box or pouch fruit drink (optional). Please pack all snacks in a certain area of your child’s backpack and NOT in their lunchbox! Way too many lunches disappear at snack time! Do not send any of the 3 C’s– cokes, chips or candy!
