What kind of RFID TAG to use?
Tags are produced with a unique identification code (UIC) or serial number from the manufacturer. This is embedded digitally on the microchip and may not be changed, thereby making them extremely resistant to counterfeiting. The combination of UIC, user data, serial number and on-board memory makes it possible to track, recall, or document the life span of a single item. TSP has developed special curved tag casing for industrial cylinder industry based on global EPC Gen 2 standards. The Ultra High Frequency (UHF) RFID is recommended for asset and inventory management. The UHF RFID Tag is encased in impact proof casing to last for a long time. The tags are attached to the cylinder with an epoxy\acrylic bonding agent. TSP reads the unique id of the tag. Depending on the usage the user may write to tag other information that they may require to meet their requirements .
