What kind of reindeer games couldn Rudolph play?
Some partisans on the Democratic side are upset with AFP editor Chris Graham for playing nice to Republicans. His message to those Democrats – you can keep playing those reindeer games, or you can try to keep things moving forward in spite of the spanking that we took in Tuesday’s state elections. # AMEN CHRIS!!! Many of these Democrats that like to play the games you talk about are many of the same ones that simply assumed that we would ride the President’s coat tails to a Deeds victory. They assumed too much! Politics takes a lot of work …. The day that you become complacent in what you do is the day you begin to fall behind!!! # chrisgraham on November 4th, 2009 10:56 am Several nails hit squarely on their heads. State Democrats assumed that all they had to do to win was trot out the blue D. Now some in the party faithful are turning on people like me who have been saying for weeks that the strategy they were employing, if you want to call it a strategy, wasn’t going to work. Source
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a character created in a story and song by the same name. The story was created by Robert L. May in 1939 as part of his employment with Montgomery Ward. The story is owned by The Rudolph Company, L.P. and has been sold in numerous forms including a popular song, a television special (done in stop motion animation), and a feature film. Character Arts, LLC [1] manages the licensing for the Rudolph Company, L.P. Although the story and song are not public domain, Rudolph has become a figure of Christmas folklore. The song tells the tale of Santa Claus’s ninth and lead reindeer who possesses an unusually red-colored nose that gives off its own light, powerful enough to illuminate the team’s path through inclement weather.
