There is also special recognition in the annual report and on a plaque of honor at the Northwest North Carolina Chapter for those who donate $1,000 or more within a calendar year and are considered our Heroes. The Clara Barton Society honors people who share her caring and commitment through their generous support of the American Red Cross. The Clara Barton Society recognizes giving at many levels: Founders Club: $100,000 to $499,999; Good Samaritans Club: $50,000 to $99,999; Benefactors Club: $25,000 to $49,999; Pacesetters Club: $10,000 to $24,999; Sponsor Club $5,000 to $9,999; and Friends Club: $1,000 to $4,999.
