Reactions to Restylane/Hyaluronic acid injections are rare and generally resolve with time in the first few days. The most common occurrrence is some redness at the injection sites and in the enhanced areas immediately following the procedure, most often resolving within a few days from the injection. In some cases injection-related reactions can consist of swelling, itching, discoloration, discomfort or tenderness at the implant site. They typically resolve spontaneously within several days after injection into the skin.
