What kind of projects does The Paradigm Project facilitate?
Our projects can take many forms, depending on the partners at the table and the needs and available resources within a given community. For instance, in areas where forests have been depleted and the land is unnaturally arid, we may pursue managed reforestation projects that are capable of restoring the natural canopy cover and creating community income through harvestable timber, carbon offset credits or saleable crops. Or in areas where coffee is a rich resource, we may work with communities to develop and bring to market their own coffee brand, empowering them with a greater knowledge of, and access to, the supply chain.
