What kind of programs are offered at the jail?
Bible study, AA/NA is offered to all inmates except those who are classified as a maximum. Maximum inmates will be given a bible if they request it. Sentenced inmates who are not classified as maximum will be allowed to participate in the following programs offered by Lutheran Social Services: Anger Managment, Cognitive Restructuring and Life Skills. Sentenced inmates who are not classified as maximum will be allowed to participate in the following programs offered by Lakeshore Technical College at the jail: GED, HSED, Adult Basic Education, Employability Skills, Parenting and Money Management. It is the inmates responsibility to sign up or request these opportunities.
