What kind of programming is provided through Multicultural Affairs?
Multicultural Affairs plans and implements a variety of programs each year, such as Heritage Month programs (e.g., Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, and Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month), an annual awards ceremony (co-sponsored in April with International Student Services), AU s annual Martin Luther King, Jr. birthday celebration (January), and an annual recognition dinner for Frederick Douglass Scholars (November). We also co-sponsor many programs with student clubs and organizations and other campus offices.
