What kind of Plastics are used in California Springs Bottles?
We use several different kinds of plastics depending on the application and end use. LDPE – Our Classic, Classic Twister, Xtreme and SuperTwister Series bottles all use LDPE (Low Density Polyurethane). LDPE has the feel of quality and is soft and easy to squeeze (important for a “Squeeze” bottle!). HDPE – Our AV Series promotional bottles use HDPE (High Density Polyurethane). It uses less material, and the material itself costs less than LDPE resulting in a lighter weight, less expensive and hard to squeeze bottle.
