What kind of personality does the Chihuahua usually have?
The Chihuahua is a good companion, small but courageous, energetic, even bold and proud. This breed can be strong-willed and is typically very loyal to one owner or very few people in the family, even showing some jealousy. The Chihuahua may follow the owner’s every move if there are strangers around as well. Keep in mind that the Chihuahua can also be noisy – barking enough to annoy you or your family if there is a situation in which it does not feel comfortable. For this, firm and consistent training may be necessary to overcome the behavior.
