What kind of person just moves and leaves their pet?
I work with for a property management company and we see this mostly with people who have been evicted, they don’t know where they or going and can’t afford to maintain themselves and instead of acting responsibly (surprise) and finding a place for they pet they just leave them. We had one tenant abandon two horses, five goats, three dogs, a pig and a bunch of chickens. When our property manager went to inspect the property the tenants had been out five days.
