What kind of person are biotech companies looking for?
CL: For an entry-level lab position, companies are really looking for lab or research experience such as working in a lab at school or having a summer internship at a biotech company. Q: What kind of company is ideal for a recent college graduate looking for his or her first biotech job? CL: Look for a position at a company that will offer a variety of learning opportunities. Be sure that you will be working with a mentor who has a PhD (or an MS with a lot of experience).
