What kind of performance improvement can I expect from AcceleNet?
In general, acceleration of from 3 to 6 times your normal performance can be expected from AcceleNet. Note that there are scenarios where this performance is hidden by other factors. For example, when a user makes the connection between Outlook and an Exchange server, the initial overhead of communication back and forth between the email client and email server takes from 30 to 60 seconds. This will be true whether the email to be downloaded is 2 kilobytes or 2 megabytes. In the former case, the overhead will be noticeable, and will make the transfer seem slow. This is unrelated to AcceleNet’s performance.
