What kind of payout does LAMOT receive?
Holland Speedway agreed to pay $200 per car. With the amount allotted it is dispersed much more evenly than traditional top heavy purses. Because the entire purse is determined by the number of cars LAMOT designated $125 as the minimum paid to last place – a sufficient amount for teams not having to buy tires or race fuel weekly. The year end point fund (raised independently by our volunteer staff) is also spread more evenly to ALL teams competing in 80% of the scheduled races, not just the top 5 or 10 finishers in the standings.
