What kind of parrot shoud i buy?
They may look similar but they are very quite different in temperment and needs. If it’s your first parrot , do not get a cockatoo, they are great and sweet when brought up right but they need a lot of attention and may scream(which is not good for someone in an apartment).They need a much bigger cage than a cockatiel which mean more mess for you…I’m not bashing cockatoos, I LOVE THEM !! but I work with them and are not good for unexperienced people! Cockatiels are great and can be very sweet and need less maintenence. There are even a wide range of species of smaller parrots to choose from like conures and caiques etc if you want something less common. Parrots are like children but are a great companion to have in your life! DO your research!
