What kind of modelling tools do I need to get started?
As a general rule you can get away with only a few tools if you just want to build the model, give it a standard paint job and apply the decals. However if you have higher ambitions to turn out a model of great quality and realistic detail there are a vast number of tools available to help you achieve you goal. What I suggest you do is have a look through the accessories section of the web site to see what we have available. If you are just starting out I would recommend the following tools: scalpel, pliers, sanding pads, glue, putty, brushes, brush cleaning solution.
