The Nokia 6310i supports an open WAP technology standard for mobile Internet based content. WAP 1.2.1 (Conformance June 2000) and its specification contains WAP over GPRS, push service message indication, direct calling, direct editing, downloadable calendar and contact items, cookies, optimised protocol stack for interactive mobile services, and support for both textual and graphical content. It also supports Java MIDlet downloads.
