The Inground Safety Shelter is manufactured from Polyethylene, a more “technical” term for Plastic. The extremely high molecular bonding properties of polyethylene make it one of the strongest materials known to man. Unlinke many other materials used to manufacture Shelters, Plastic will not rust, corrode, rot, crack with settling. The Inground Safety Shelter is one of the only shelters on the market that the polyethylene body will last for an excess of 500+ years!
