What kind of material is rock wool?
Rock wool must not be confused with glass wool. In order to make rock wool crumbled rock is used which is then melted in furnaces that turn it into wool; this is then stretched and pressed with special machines. We chose Flumroc, a Swiss company that manufactures a product with CE mark and invests a lot in the safeguard of the environment in terms of production, transport and recovery of materials which are not used by installers. Rock wool is totally non-toxic and recyclable.
