What kind of light does the SADelite, TRAVelite, BOXelite and Flamingo emit?
Whereas “Full Spectrum” lighting was formerly thought to be important, it is now widely accepted as being unnecessary. Rather, it is the amount or intensity of light that counteracts SAD. The tubes we use and prefer are rated at 3000 degrees Kelvin. It is a warmer light with less UV. The tubes are of course interchangeable and can be replaced with cooler tubes with higher color temperatures.
