What kind of letter of support is helpful?
While not required, letters of support from elected officials (federal, state and local), involved departments heads and community leaders on organization letterhead, and from businesses on organization letterhead, are helpful to document support for your application. Support from department heads and unions is also helpful. State, local and regional support is considered in the scoring criteria.
