You can create a simple program by referring to the sample programs. However, if you wish to create an original design program, you need a basic knowledge of Biology including protein and functions of organisms and genetic information. Also, knowledge of JavaScript is necessary. Knowledge of Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics may enhance your program. Basic knowledge required for entering this contest will be provided via this website. It may be a good idea to have a study session with an expert in the mentioned fields. You may even make good friends by participating in this contest. Furthermore seminars and workshops on this contest are planned to be held.
