PhotoImpact 8 can open and save JP2(fit JPEG 2000 standard part 1) and JPC(JPEG 2000 file containing code streams only) file formats. Until now there is no release of a “standard JPEG 2000 file format.” Ulead has tested the JPEG 2000 codecs from the following companies: Asper software, Kakadu, Aware software, Power Compressor 1.5, LuraTech JPEG 2000 Adobe PhotoShop plug in version 1.0 and Algo Vision J2k viewer.
