What kind of jobs is available in Gothenburg?
Ans: There are mostly odd jobs available but are not easy to get. During the first two quarters, study load will be huge and you won’t find any time to search or do any kind of job. However afterwards in third and fourth quarters in some of the programs, it becomes possible to do job on weekends. In summer, it is possible to find job relatively easily, but still it needs effort. We recommend you to register at SFI (Swedish for immigrants) for Swedish language course once you get your personal number. Though it may sound boring, but facts have proved that those who continue the course find it easier to get job in summer. There is another job which is an odd job. Its advertisement delivery job called as Reklam. Just ask one of your senior already working with reklam to introduce you or call their office.
