Truman students have found employment at businesses such as the local coffee shop, Hastings (a local music, video and book store), Wal-mart, local law firms, KTVO (an ATSC television affiliate), hardware stores, veterinary offices and just about every restaurant in town. (Note: Scholarship hour requirements do not begin until the third term.) In order to qualify for work-study you must complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you qualify, you will be notified by mail. Students have found employment in almost every administrative office including: Admissions, Athletics, the Career Center, Information Technology Services, Publications, the Student Recreation Center and Public Relations. Most of the academic divisions will also have opportunities for work.
