What kind of job can i get with a public relations communications degree?
Look at two things: function and industry. You could do corporate communications for something in the art industry. Or, you could look for PR in any company. Remember that you’re not likely to end up doing what you think you’re going to do when you get out of school so network, do info interviews, and accept the best job offer you get, even if it isn’t quite perfect. I recommend going for bigger, more established companies to start your career. Get that name brand on your resume and learn how big companies work. It makes it much easier to transition to and thrive in a smaller company if that’s where you want to end up. Go on LinkedIn, Monster, and Yahoo! jobs and see what’s out there.
