The aim of environmental projects The aim of all environmental projects is to give to the students the actual and right view of the environment so that they understand the wholeness, and causes and consequences of problems. Knowledge is not enough. Projects have to give the students readiness to act accordingly. Projects have to support learning of students in all cases. It is important that environmental projects are based on international environmental programmes along the Rio Agenda 21. The framework of the Finnish curriculum The national curriculum of the comprehensive and upper secondary school was started in Finland this year. The reason for this process is to improve the framework of curriculum which has been in use since 1994.
