What kind of horns will be used?
We will use Bb Trumpets, Baritones, Euphoniums, Contra Basses / Tubas and F Mellophones. Since the corps does not yet own instruments (Hey, we just got started!) all hornline members are strongly encouraged to provide their own instrument. Affordable, used instruments can be easily found on Ebay. You can also contact Ed Mason for help in finding a good, used instrument. If you absolutely can not afford to purchase a used instrument or if you can not find one to borrow, please let us know a.s.a.p. so we can find one for you. All horns must be silver plated by the time we get to our first public performance. The following is a list of brands that will be acceptable.
