What kind of help will I get from Redbridge Intermediate Care?
Answer Intermediate Care can be delivered flexibly either in your own home or in rehabilitation beds in Heronwood/Galleon Units at Wanstead hospital, depending on the level of need. The most appropriate pathway is established following assessment and the services focus on promoting independence with activities of daily living including mobility, personal & domestic activities. The programme is supported at home by a team of re-enablement carers directed by the Intermediate Care Team which includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, a social worker and rehabilitation assistants.
