What kind of hard drives compatible with my motherboard?
The thing to remember about your board is that it has both serial and ATA drive support. The IDE means integrated device electronics. Many years ago the drive interface was a card that plugged into the motherboard with the drive plugged into the interface. Then the engineers decided to put the interface in the drive–hence the word integrated. I don’t remember what ata means. The speed difference will not hurt anything. The 100 and 133 refer to data transfer speeds. Running a 100 drive instead of 133 will only cause the system to slow down to the 100 speed. You should probably run the fastest drive you can. Remember, your board supports SERIAL drives–they are faster than an IDE drive and you should probably go with them.
