What Kind Of Happiness Did The Prince Enjoy When He Lived In His Palace?
“The Happy Prince” is a name of a marvelous story by the famous writer Oscar Wilde. Wilde has portrayed the 2 different attitudes of the prince. One is when the prince was alive and one is when the prince was dead and his statue was erected in a high place in the city. When the prince was alive he used to play in the garden of his palace. He used to lead the dance in some Great Hall of the palace. He never knew what the tears were. Though he lived in the palace but he never tried to see what is there behind the wall of his palace. So people started to call him as “The Happy Prince”. The Happy Prince never cared what to ask what is happening in the city. So in general The Happy Prince led the life of totally pleasures and he had not ever tried to know how the people were living in his country. He used to play with his fellows and he never knew what the meaning of sorrow is. He lived a very happy life.
