IDA is not a funding organization. IDA does offer a Fiscal Sponsorship Program for our members. Fiscal Sponsorship is a tool which allows eligible documentary film projects to apply for grants and tax deductible donations under IDA’s 501(c)(3) umbrella. For more information about the Fiscal Sponsorship program please visit our Fiscal Sponsorship FAQ.IDA does sometimes co-sponsor specific grant opportunities, such as the IDA/Pare Lorentz Documentary Finishing Fund Grant and the A&E IndieFilms, Heineken Documentary Finishing Grant. When these opportunities are available, information about current deadlines and how to apply will be available on our website. No other funding is available. We are unable to respond to general inquiries about funding.
