What kind of gps system works with a motorcycle?
Errr…they ALL work….that’s the whole point of GPS. The question is how long they work when they get wet since most systems aren’t waterproof. There are bike specific units that are waterproof but they are more expensive as a result than units intended to be fitted in cars. You also have to consider how you intend to get the data from it since it’s harder to hear the voice commands from a GPS when you are on a bike. Fortunately, dedicated bike units tend to come with Bluetooth but that means you need a Bluetooth receiver….possibly in a helmet. Again, very expensive. You could simply try a hand held unit, we use a car/pedestrian unit running on it’s own batteries when we are on the bike…..we sit it in a waterproof camera case and have it in the top of the tank bag. We use it visually….we don’t use the audible instructions on it.
