You don’t need to take someone you are dating or interested in romantically to the prom. If you have a single friend or good acquaintance, you should ask her. If you don’t know any girls well enough to ask, talk to one of your guy friends who has a girlfriend. His girlfriend would be more than happy to set you up with someone. You can also all hang out together so it won’t be too awkward. Or, you can just go by yourself.
