What kind of “gas mileage” does a motorhome get while parked and running on its electric generator?
This will depend on what size generator you have and how much you use it. If your stove and refrigerator are running on LP gas and you are staying somewhere where you don’t need lights much because it gets light early and stays light late and the temperature is comfortable so you don’t run heat or AC… you don’t hardly need to run your generator – maybe an hour every day or two to keep the batteries charged. You might get weeks per gallon. If you watch TV a lot and run a personal computer, microwave, stereo and other accessories frequently, keep the lights on and run the AC constantly you will likely need gallons per day.
