There are at least a dozen emulators for older consoles that work on the PSP. Basically any system older than the PS1 can be emulated on the PSP. They are also in the Alpha stage of a PS1 emulator. In addition to console emulators, there are dozens of homebrew apps, such as E-Book readers, PDA/organizer programs, telnet, and IRC.
