What kind of foundation and/or powder would you suggest for me?
I also have very pale skin but MAC do some great pale foundations. I only use these when my skin is bad though, if you’ve got pretty good skin with only few blemishes, I find that Collection 2000 concealer in Nude is good for those (use your ring finger to apply as it has the lightest touch) and I just use the Rimmel Translucent powder to finish off. Both are a lot cheaper too! I would use a pink toned blush, if you want a long lasting one thats relatively cheap, try the blush balls from Avon, they’re about £8 and last AGES, give you a soft glow without looking over the top. Steer clear of bronzing balls or shades that are too brown. Pale skin is VERY in right now, match it up with some smoky dark eye make-up and you’ll be well on trend.
Make sure you get one that matches your skin tone, or you could end up looking super tangoed or vampirish. If you have oily skin, you’re probably better with a liquid or powder foundation. If your skin is normal to dry, try creams, mousses or liquids. To find the right colour, use the samples and put it on your jaw line/cheek and rub it in. If (in natural light) the foundation blends in making it look natural and not as noticeable, you have your match!
