What kind of food crops can be grown in Denmark?
2.7 million hectares or sixty-three percent of Denmark’s land area is cultivated farmland. Grain crops amount to over half of Denmark’s agricultural production with wheat, barley and rye being the most widespread. Roughage – beets and grass – are also grown.
