What kind of fish can you keep with a spoted puffer and a figure eight puffer freshwater fish/?
Ok, here’s the problem. Neither of those are fresh water puffers (despite what your fish store or wal-mart said). The spotted puffer you are refferring to is probably the Green Spotted Puffer (GSP), Tetraodon nigroviridis, which likes freshwater as a juvenile, and brackish to full marine as an adult, at least a 30 gallon tank, and will eat any tankmates. The Figure Eight Puffer (F8), also needs brackish water, and at least a 15 gallon tank to itself, though it can live in large, understocked community tanks with fast brackish fish and lots of planting. Both of these puffers require PERFECT water parameters, will eat only live foods, would kill or harass most anything else that you put in your tank, and require other things like beak trimmings which you may not be prepared to provide. You can do a little research here, www.thepufferforum.com, and either separate them and convert to Brackish set-ups, or return them and get a Dwarf Puffer, which is truely fresh water, and can be housed wi
