What kind of financial support is available as a major in the J-School?
More than $100,000 in scholarships is disbursed to undergraduate journalism majors and M.A. professional journalism emphasis students each year. Journalism and mass communication students have also been successful in winning competitive scholarships outside the School such as The Hearst Foundation (sometimes called the Pulitzers of college journalism), the Murray Scholars awards and others.
