What kind of feeder is best to hold hulled sunflower seeds?
A tubular feeder is best because hulled sunflower will attract small birds that are comfortable clinging to a short perch. Be sure to not to use a tube feeder designed for Nyjer seed, which has extremely small feeding ports. Black-oil or gray striped sunflower seed with hulls can be offered from almost any feeder, either pole-mounted hopper style feeders or hanging tubular feeders.
