What kind of equipment does the Patient Edu Patient Education system require?
A. We recommend that hospitals use stand-alone or networked Tablet PCs for their flexibility and ease of patient use, but the system can run on any current computer with media capabilities. We are currently recommending that hospitals consider the Motion Computing series of Tablet PCs. The content may, also, be delivered through a hospital’s television system and operated with a set-top remote control or touchpad. Set up of the program’s presentations can be done using the Tablet PC or any PC on the hospital’s intranet using a web browser.
