What kind of employment opportunities are available with The Positive Purpose Foundation?
Currently, The Positive Purpose Foundation is just in its beginning stages as a division of the NHF, and has no need for actual employees. However, we are looking for what the NHF calls “Harvesters”. A Harvester is a person who conducts fundraising for us by holding educational church/community meetings, rummage sales, contests, candy/bake sales, walk-a-thons, grant writing, car washes, special dinners, sporting events, and any other creative forms of fundraising pre-approved by us, including direct contact with major donors. Once we have interviewed and accept a volunteer into the Harvester program, we set up a special account for them at the National Heritage Foundation headquarters, (NHF, our parent foundation who manages us). 20% of all funds a particular Harvester raises goes into their special “seed corn” account for future fundraising use.
